BUILDING TEAMS & LEADERS IN OUR COMMUNITY, CHURCH, AND THE NATIONS
We have always felt called to serve others and ultimately to serve the Lord. Discipleship for us means we are constantly growing ourselves and bringing others with us. Our unique story has put us on assignment on the Big Island of Hawaii. It may not be what you first think of when talking about missions work, but the reality is that while the islands may be paradise, there are still hundreds of unreached people here and this is just now home base for us... our reach is extends beyond. We were drawn to the Big Island when our home church on Maui started a new campus in the city of Kona and we began volunteering to fill whatever the need was. In fact, for six months we would fly twice a week to be a part of the ministry on the Big Island while keeping up with our lives on Maui. Today, we're a part of a thriving ministry team, we've taken roots in the community, and we're reaching the nations by working with student missionaries who are sent to places like Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Paraguay, Nigeria, the Philippines and all around the world. We have spent time mentoring believers who literally backpack bibles undercover (where proselytizing is illegal) and will hike to out of reach places to share the gospel! We can't wait to take our family overseas ourselves, but know this season is important.

"Dylan Andrion, is a man of God that I have known and worked in close relationship with since 2017. I’ve had a close pastoral and personal relationship with him and his wife Rachel since 2017, and they have served on my team since 2020. I know this couple to be dedicated to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and eager to serve Him wholeheartedly.
Dylan and his family have labored with me the last few years in establishing a new church in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. He has been involved in nearly every area of our ministry. He is one of the best team builders I’ve had the privilege of working with. He and his wife have worked to build our leadership teams, media ministry, life groups, website, livestream, and more... [mentoring of ethnic leaders]. In a time of rapid growth, Dylan pioneered developing teams and systems to connect with people during our services and throughout the week. He has also proven highly skilled in graphic and web design. I have watched him function as a tremendous priest of the home in leading his family well. His wife and children are an incredible blessing to the kingdom of God. A great asset to the Body of Christ, Dylan and Rachel, both have a heart to minister and I can confidently recommend them." |

"In this last year Dylan has trained and developed many students from the staff leadership training school within YWAM and other schools. Weekly, students would come to give hours to the church and learn how to go after people, connect them to the body, and give of themselves sacrificially to the church. Dylan helped give many of these students a biblical view and perspective of how to value the local church and local people through meeting with them weekly. Many times students come to this island for missions and do not have a healthy upbringing in the local church. Dylan was used by God to really shape students view of the church. A few drastic testimony’s from these weekly service hours include: One girl had never really trusted a pastor in the church and through working with Dylan at Kings and seeing his heart for people and his genuine anointing to love people her heart was healed. Another few students who had never served in a kids ministry and got opened up into a gift on their life that they didn’t know that they had. Now they are able to use that gift and pursue ministering to kids as a calling because of this experience. Through Dylan’s sacrificial life there have been kids who have seen the genuine call building people that Dylan has and it has made them love people differently. Dylan’s life emanates a love for others and an anointing that makes people want to love Jesus and serve him."

"I had the absolute honor of partnering with Dylan in training student missionaries. He was the ‘bridge’ for all the students from YWAM Kona and the local church. His intentionality is unmatched and he truly creates an atmosphere for the missions students to feel loved, cared for, and have a sense of belonging towards the local church. Dylan helped create an impactful relationship from the local church to the YWAM base in Kona, Hawaii. Not only that, but on several occasions it was clear how essential and vital Dylan’s role in the church was by connecting the people who attend the church in a more intentional and impactful way. This emanates and shows all the people around of how much the church cares for its people. There were several occasions where Dylan had no obligation to, yet chose to take us out on his free time and sponsor us meals, hear our hearts, guide and counsel us and even share intimate life changing testimonies. There were also extra-curricular events he did freely to demonstrate what it means to lead through example and as a servant. Truly, it cannot even be an exaggeration, but the intensity of Dylan’s intentionality is rare. Not only that but he definitely championed all of us YWAMer’s to go to the maximum of all our God given talents and gifting. His polite attitude and constant joy is super contagious and is just what’s needed for the job. The verse: ‘the joy of the Lord is your strength’ truly embodies the Dylan's ministry. Dylan’s natural hospitality skills and heart desire to connect and champion others to their gifting truly shows the humility over his life. It was a pure honor, joy and privilege knowing and co-laboring with Dylan!
